An excellent connection between the wear-proof polyurethane and the highly rigid steel cord tension members is the foundation for this timing belt’s great potential. The highly flexible production process leads to maximum precision in forming, making it particularly suitable for e.g. timing belts with double or outer tooth systems. The range of available polyurethane mixtures is extensive, permitting production of CONTI® SYNCHROFLEX polyurethane timing belts suitable for use in low temperatures, in clean rooms and in the food industry.
